Halloween morning:

Tater Tot: Mommy Luzhyooo!

The Mommy: Yes, Mommy does love you.

Tater Tot: ‘Pider luzhyoo (pointing to the spider on my orange Halloween t-shirt)

The Mommy: Oh, okay. Sure. Spider loves you too.

Not real sure why the spider was included in the love-fest but whatever floats her boat.

I’m still not sure what the drama was later in the day but she seemed to need lots of “huggies” and “pickapookoo” (being picked up) while saying “Mommy luzhyoo” and “Mommy hazhyoo” (what I say when she seems to need lots of huggies and pickapookoo). It’s really cute to see her pick up the comforting things that I say to try to soothe herself. Unfortunately, this also works for whatever else comes out of my mouth…
