A Mommy’s Life is the chronicle of the life of me, The Mommy, the 41-year-old first-time mother of a beautiful 3 year old Type 1 diabetic Princess (aka Petunia), born in February of 2006 in sunny Southern California. I am a stay-at-home Mommy with all the challenges and rewards that go with it. Join us on our journey as we tackle the challenge of preschooler-hood and deal with our unauthorized little stow-aways, the Sugar Bugs. It’s never boring!

Before becoming a Mommy, The Mommy’s life-before included jobs such as school counselor, school social worker and LCSW working with adolescents and their families. In addition, it used to include a lot more sleep and exercise. A perpetual learner and seeker of balance, I am constantly updating my knowledge and striving to put it into practice in my life.
